Golf Sixes Event

The article below gives details of the second "Golf Sixes" event which is being held closeby at The Centurion Club in St Albans on 5th & 6th May:-

Team England

The second edition of GolfSixes takes place at Centurion Club in St Albans, on May 5-6, 2018. The fast and fun six-hole format starts with teams split into four groups of four before the top two teams from each group progress to the knockout stages – the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, a 3rd/4th place play-off match and the final – all of which will be contested on Sunday May 6.

England Golf has teamed up with The European Tour to offer you the chance to snap up a limited number of FREE TICKETS* to experience this revolutionary short form of golf. There are only a LIMITED number of free tickets, so when they're gone, they're gone. But don't worry, as a member of England Golf you will still be entitled to discounted entry (details below).

As well as watching 16 two-player teams competing for the €1 million prize fund, there will be entertainment for spectators to enjoy outside the ropes as the six holes wend their way around the centrally located fan zone at the Hertfordshire venue. In addition to amphitheatre-style stands around the tees and greens, there will be music and pyrotechnics on the first tee and at various points around the course, with player engagement to help bring fans closer to the action.

*The number of free tickets is limited. Once the limited number of free tickets have gone, you will still be able to buy tickets for just £6 (normal price £16), as part of a special GolfSixes offer.  This means a family of four can have a great day out for under £20, with children’s tickets (10 to 17 years old) available for £3 and free entry for under 10s. To claim your free tickets, scroll down on the linked page to the 'Donations and Offers' tab.
